Why Can't I Click On the E-mail Links?
Unfortunately, e-mail addresses are regularly
harvested from web sites,
in order that they can be used to send unsolicited bulk e-mail,
or spam. This can be done
by exploiting "mailto" links on web pages or in
forms.
Our web site uses a JavaScript technique
that allows forms and clickable links to be constructed by
your browser, whilst still protecting us against spam.
If, however, your browser is configured
NOT to run JavaScript, this technique will not work, and so
we display a graphic image containing the appropriate e-mail
address. Although you can read this, the spam harvesting software
cannot, thereby protecting us from being added to spam lists.
These images, however, are not clickable (since they would
need to include our e-mail address), and so it is necessary
for you to type the e-mail address into your mailer software.
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience,
which is ultimately caused by spammers
who aim to make a small profit for themselves at the cost
of inconveniencing a large number of other people.
